king Stevian pushes his ministry’s subsidiary CSE Major Holdings Muzik in a new directiion by seeking artist and producers outside his label. Along with seemingly turning the ministry’s recording business into a bible devotion, Instrumental and sermon label the publishing arm should grow pretty large by year end. On the other end in music publishing Roc Nation has agreed on a publishing partnership with powerhouse Warner/Chappell Music that will result in the launch of Roc Nation Nashville.
For Jay Z….As part of the partnership, the two companies have created Rhythm House, a music writing and publishing venture. Publishing right now is a large market thats growing enormously just ask Daz Dillinger who produced and was featured on many 2Pac Shakur recordings. After reading the Daz Dillenger artricle you’ll see why it’s important for Jay Z and king Stevian to get into the publishing department hard. Lyrics on T Shirts, mugs, hats, sheet music and even guess whattttt…..Spotify. Yep you heard it. when you go to Spotify on your phone and play a song the LyricFind or Genius notification will appear directing you to view the lyrics of the song. So while the artist and company make money from plays the views you give to the lyrics will go to them up from advertising in most cases.
king Stevian who recently renewed his label’s lyric contract through Harry Fox & LyricFind should be seeing the fruits of the labor by year end. It makes sense why he summons producers and writers because it seems the bosses have a itch or knack for publishing to grow their empires. king Stevian recently spoke about rolling out his label and ministry’s catalog lyrics from all their artist to put on their next season of SteveCurtis Clothing Apparel line.
Back to Jay Z…he set out (and continues) to make Roc Nation a multi-faceted entertainment company, not only specializing in music but also Roc Nation Sports, their sports management division, and Three Six Zero Entertainment, a partnership with Three Six Zero Group to represent clients in the world of television and literary arts. But looking at these two guys and the way the industry is going and of course from seeing the million dollars that Daz makes, many more artist and labels will join ship in an increasing industry since downloads and royalties for music streaming is decreasing.
