Well a great deal has been sealed. With all the bad talk about Jay Z’s Tidal streaming service, he decided to do as king Stevian does and that is to move with silence. Which we know hurts the enemy. You can either kill em with kindness or with silence and looking at the success of the deal (which Jay Z sold a 33% stake in Tidal) silence was a light statement. The mogul clapped back at his haters by raising the value of Tidal/himself to $600 million. If you don’t know how we got that figure well do the math 45 million subscribers ‘s the $14 – $15 average value per month of each subscriber theres your monthly value. Oh wanna go further into what the media is not mentioning then times that times 12 months hmmm billionaire…lol.
Well what does the susbcriber base means for king Stevian’s CitySide Records/CitySide Music Ministries Imprint? Well king Stevian has released today his 1st sermon single from a 50 track series called How To Please God. The single will be available on Jay Z’s Tidal as early as Sunday or Monday in front of Sprint’s 45 million phone carriers not to mention..including Jay Z’s 3 million Tidal subscribers. king Stevian tells us that Tidal has begun this year paying writers and publishers publishing and has been more consistent on paying the laels so they will focus more on promoring their catalog on Tidal along with Microsoft’s Groove.
Many in the past complained about Tidal not paying the artist but we know with a deal connected to Sprint the numbers will have to add up. But maybe Jay Z’s Tidal started paying because they knew the deal with Sprint was near and their books had to line up. Well no matter what it is CitySide Records music and sermon catalog will be pushed to the millions of Sprint customers nationwide and will increase the plays which will in return bring in bigger revenues for the label’s ministry which owns 100% of it.
