On January 25, 2024, Assistant Marion County States Attorney Amy Berndt filed a Notice with the court that she would be conducting a video deposition on February 5, 2024, with Dr. Harry Krop MD in the State’s case against Neely Petrie Blanchard.

During the podcast interview LISTEN NOTES, Krop was asked specifically about the case of “Danny Rolling” who became known as the “Gainesville Ripper” and was later executed for the murders of five students in Gainesville, Florida in August of 1990. “He later confessed to raping several of his victims, committing a triple homicide in his home city of Shreveport, Louisiana, and attempting to murder his father in May 1990,” according to Wikipedia.

SERENDIPITY STRIKES AS DR. KROP BECOMES THE GO-TO GUY FOR CNN AND OTHER NETWORKS 

Dr. Krop explained that Danny Rolling “happened” to kill his victims in Gainesville “where I lived”. “My professional life and my personal life sort of merged during that time period,” Krop said. Krop said “CNN [and] all the major networks” “the trucks were all over Gainesville” “and because I had a reputation of the person in that area who did forensic psychology, they would want to interview me,” Krop said.

DR. KROP INTERVIEWS DANNY ROLLING IN MARION COUNTY JAIL WITH NO AUTHORIZATION AND BECOMES THE ‘FIRST’ WITNESS TO ROLLINGS’ SO-CALLED “CONFESSIONS”

Dr. Krop said, “About two or three weeks after the last person – at least as far as they knew – the body had been found – I got a call from a Public Defender in Ocala which is Marion County which is about 40 miles south of Gainesville. I got a call – it was on a late Friday afternoon and said ‘we have this individual in the jail – he’s been charged with attempted armed robbery – and there is something off about this person would you be willing to go down and see him as soon as possible. And they stressed the urgency I wasn’t sure why and I said ‘sure I’ll go down tomorrow’ it was a weekend and so I drove down to Ocala I actually didn’t have any written authority from that Public Defender to see this person but the staff at the Marion County Jail knew who I was and I said I would like to see this guy named Danny Rolling and they let me see him,” Krop said. Krop explained that he met Rolling. Krop said Rolling had “no idea I was coming” and had “no idea who I worked for” “because the Public Defender didn’t have time to communicate with him”.

Dr. Krop explained he talked to Rolling for two hours about armed robbery. Found him competent. Discussed confidentiality. “You could have even killed a bunch of people and I couldn’t tell anybody,” Krop said. Rolling replied, “well I did”. Four hours about killing “the five people in Gainesville”.

“Do you want me to tell your attorney?” Krop asked Rowlings.

DANNY ROLLING WAS NOT EVEN A SUSPECT IN THE SERIAL KILLINGS WHEN DR. KROP WALKED INTO HIS LIFE WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION OR INVITATION 

“He (Rolling) wasn’t even a suspect,” Krop said.

“Oh by the way I also killed three other people in Louisiana but I’d rather not talk about that,” Krop said, explaining something Rolling allegedly said to him at the “end”.

DR. KROP ACTS AS THE COURIER OF MESSAGES BETWEEN A NETWORK OF PROSECUTORS, DEFENSE ATTORNEYS, AND JUDGES 

Krop said, “Couple of weeks go by and I get a telephone call from the Public Defenders Office in Gainesville saying Danny Rowling has been determined to be a suspect in the murder cases could I get involved with the Defense Team in Alachua County now at that time he didn’t know I had already been involved with him so I felt obligated to tell them about that to see if they thought that was a conflict of interest they said “no”…”

Krop went on to explain that the Public Defender in Marion County had been communicating with the Public Defender in Gainesville about him (Krop) and Rolling.

“I went to talk to the Chief Judge who I knew personally and I gave him a hypothetical and he said you can’t tell anybody it could mean a mistrial,” Krop said. “I also talked to the State Attorney in Alachua County I knew personally and I gave hypotheticals,” Krop said.

Krop discussed testimony he gave in a case that involved the “death penalty” in Orlando. Krop said after he gave the testimony he “talked to that State Attorney who then, ironically, was the judge on the, who became a judge on the Casey Anthony which I also did and I told him he was “very instrumental in my life””.

When William Kevin Murtaugh, Apopka, Florida, purchased an old news van to follow detectives in the Casey Anthony murder case, and was forced to “apologize” for publicly claiming to know the identity of missing child Trenton Duckett’s abductor, Channel 6 covered Murtaugh’s story with what seemed like a public service announcement by Channel 6 of a Creep Alert.

The spectacle created by Murtaugh involved his involvement in the missing child case of HaLeigh Cummings, who vanished in 2009, and screenshots of a user called “murtwitnessonelive” who boasted and bragged about kidnapping, raping and murdering children. The poster was so psychotic and crude they laughed about something called “run” that comes out of a child’s anus when they are being anally raped.
