Elvis, died of a broken heart !!!
At times, I would think that it would be nice to be Elvis. He was handsome, charming to women, friends with everyone, rich, popular, and a good singer. When I heard he was dead, I quickly realized I was very happy to be Arthur Trafford and still alive.
I appreciate Elvis making a Gospel Album; RCA Records, Hollywood, and the pagan liberals in the US didn’t see any value in his gospel album. Even Ed Sullivan didn’t want Elvis to sing a gospel song on national TV.
In reality, I think the fans of Elvis SMOTHERED HIM with too much attention. I think he felt he was in a VERY LARGE FISH BOWL and being stared at DURING his whole “15 minutes of fame”, and that kind of attention either made him very angry or made him very depressed. Elvis was TRAPPED “On stage” every minute of his waking hours (how sad) !!!
Later in life, I bet Elvis wished his fans would have been stricken with varying degrees of amnesia concerning him and let Elvis have more of a PRIVATE LIFE so he could RELAX and have more normal relationships with individuals he liked and loved.
Attention from strangers really did hurt Elvis spiritually and emotionally. As gifted as Elvis was, he was never allowed to really relax and love God, himself, and his family.
Addendum information about who Elvis might be if he were still alive in 2024.
The lifestyle that Elvis experienced after he BECAME FAMOUS destroyed his hope of being emotionally healthy.
Before 1978, Elvis wasn’t free to experience “The Abundant Life” in Emmanuel (meaning God with us).
Elvis accomplished many goals in his life, but happiness ELUDED HIM. I think God has a since of humor in giving pastor Bob Joyce the “Looks, voice and mannerisms” that reminds us of Elvis.
Since pastor, Bob Joyce unequivocally denies that he is Elvis. If he is Elvis, Elvis is seeking anonymity in 2024, for Elvis knows all too well that HIS FAME helped destroy him spiritually and emotionally in the past. Therefore, consider the real Elvis DEAD if you truly want Bob Joyce to be happy in the 21st Century; in other words, DON’T KILL ELVIS TWICE !!!
