Putting the record straight in the debate on “Global Warming” and “Climate change”
Scientists can’t make a good case for the claim that industrial pollution causes “Global Warming” because it’s simply not happening at the rate they predicted. In fact it’s not happening because several things are happening to counteract the potential warming effects of global pollution. Among these are increased particles in the stratosphere due to the increase in volcanic activity and air pollution interacting with exhaust gasses from jet airliners. Surprisingly, scientists now find that the observed increase in volcanic activity is the indirect result of industrial pollution.
So, while we are continuing to pollute the planet we are not significantly warming the atmosphere; NOT YET.
However that should be no reason for complacency - the effects of global pollution and mass exploitation of the natural environment with little sense of conservation, foresight and respect for the health of ALL living species is alarming. All the facts and figures are available and the hockey stick curve for all this is beyond dispute. Every sane person on the planet should be screaming at their governments to take serious measures to stop that. But they don’t because their governments and mainstream media don’t draw any attention to these facts and figures and the alarming hockey stick curves.
