Conservationism (part 2)…
[This is now going to be my, every B4IN article, standard opening (as of Dec. 19, 2024):
I get it, I really do, all these outlets are operating as a business… And how do they make money? Advertising! (more continues: /media/2024/07/click-bait-here-click-bait-there-everywhere-click-bait-2515961.html )
Yes, sorry, frankly I TOO find especially the initial Ads (they pile up, to be able to get them viewed in case someone doesn't read the whole article) here interrupting a nice/natural Read flow and are ANNOYING (but it keeps the Site FREE FOR VIEWING no Pay Wall to have to BUY your way past) and conversely their annoyance may indeed keep some from wanting to bother (so, Please, there is some GREAT CONTENT here on B4IN, keep reading the entire pieces despite the annoying Ads) and note if you engage an AD BLOCKER often I have found it/they can cause issues with seeing all the intended article content --- don't want you to miss any of mine, nor anyone else who posts here entire content as intended! The authors images (some or all), videos (some or all), their intended cross-reference links (vs Site produced Ad links, the easy Share-At/On buttons, and more, might also get "blocked" from viewing. And so now, to catch any NEW Readers, I too adding to annoyance having to repeat this over and over. My apologies. I endeavor to always give you DETAILED WRITINGS (and cross-reference related links with other rabbit-holes you can go down) hopefully you'll deem worthy of putting up with the annoying Ads to engage in/with.
I am NOT fond of the changes, but I have been with B4IN a long time now - certainly not looking to leave.
Lastly, note: I also wrote for TheLibertyBeacon (https://www.thelibertybeacon.com/?s=Joseph+M+Lenard), where I dropped pieces (normally weekly) on Saturdays for the last 3 years (and even RedState back when) and now joined and dropping pieces via SUBSTACK (https://tinyurl.com/JLDonSubstack).]

Conservationism (part 2)…

NOTE: This is planned part-2 in this CONSERVATIONISM series (of 2). The CTP episode, in conjunction with this piece is S2E87 (planned drop Sat. Feb. 15th 2025).

Today’s topic once again centers on conservationism, continuing from where I left off in part 1.
One rarely hears leftist discourse regarding the Amazon rainforest, despite ongoing deforestation. This silence suggests a lack of genuine concern for the issue. Shifting to the micro versus macro discussion, micro-level solutions, such as small wind-driven drum mills on personal properties, are reasonable and sensible. In contrast, large offshore wind farms present significant problems. These facilities often experience mechanical failures that result in oil leaks, as they require lubrication to operate.
Furthermore, the very whales that proponents claim to protect are suffering unprecedented mortality rates, often beaching themselves due to the mechanical resonances produced by these offshore wind farms. This highlights a troubling reality: the issues presented are not truly about environmental protection but rather serve as a means to undermine American culture and values. The apparent concern for whales, dolphins, and schools of fish, which are also declining in numbers, is inconsistent with the actions taken by those who advocate for such measures.
American bald eagles and condors are also dying in alarming numbers due to collisions with wind turbines. The actions of those who claim to care about these species contradict their rhetoric; their intentions appear hollow when weighed against the reality of the situation. What truly matters are measurable outcomes, not the feel-good narratives that often accompany environmental policies.
Take, for instance, the Delta Smelt. In California, regulations have been altered to restrict water intake from certain bodies of water to protect this species, seemingly prioritizing the smelt over human needs. While hunger and starvation persist in the United States, California farmers are deprived of essential water resources to safeguard the Delta Smelt. This misallocation of water resources results in a significant loss of fresh water that could be used to support agriculture, ultimately leading to food shortages.
The priorities of those in power appear misaligned, as they seem more focused on protecting a fish species than addressing the needs of starving individuals. This pattern extends to issues like abortion, where the focus appears to be on reducing human life rather than preserving it. Such ideologies reflect a broader trend of prioritizing certain environmental concerns at the expense of human welfare, which can be seen as a form of communism rather than a commitment to community.
Additionally, I want to address the issue of dams. The recent decommissioning of three dams has resulted in an increased flow of fresh water into the ocean, where it becomes saline. The refusal to greenlight the construction of desalination plants in California further exacerbates the water crisis. The need for desalination facilities extends beyond California; they are necessary in Washington, Oregon, and along the East Coast as well.
Even in Michigan, a state rich in freshwater resources, we must consider future water availability. Natural cycles, rather than man-made climate change, will influence water levels, potentially leading to conflicts over freshwater resources, as depicted in various dystopian narratives. Desalination plants should be established in New York, Massachusetts, the District of Columbia, and Florida to ensure a sustainable water supply.
If we do not construct sufficient reservoirs to manage water resources effectively, we must replenish underground aquifers using desalinated water from the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. As stewards of the Earth, Christians are called to care for the planet responsibly, which contrasts sharply with the misguided priorities of those who prioritize non-human life over human welfare.
VIDEO (28m 11s): CTP Conservationism BTS/SP (CTP 20250115 S2E87):
In conclusion, I appreciate the local host on The Patriot, now known as The Answer AM 1400 in the Detroit area, for raising these issues. This discussion on conservationism is framed from a biblical, constitutionalist, and conservative perspective, highlighting the shortcomings of leftist environmental policies that often yield negative outcomes. The plight of the Delta Smelt, while important, should not overshadow the broader implications of our environmental choices, especially when they threaten human life and well-being.
Please hold on before navigating away to another part of the internet. I want to share something I nearly overlooked. As of Wednesday, January 21st, it has been reported that the California wildlife agency is deploying personnel to assist with the wildfires. However, it is important to note that these efforts are not aimed at supporting firefighters or helping the displaced human residents. Instead, the agency’s focus is on protecting an endangered trout species that is threatened by the fires.
This situation serves as a striking example of how certain groups prioritize issues that may seem disconnected from the immediate needs of people. It raises questions about the commitment of some to the well-being of their fellow humans, particularly those outside their immediate circle of family, friends, and donors.
Additionally, I want to emphasize that while the trout may experience changes in their environment, they are not at risk of being burned alive like the fictional characters Bambi and Thumper. The prioritization of such wildlife over human concerns highlights a broader critique of certain ideological positions that seem to sacrifice human (and even Animal overall, broader picture) welfare in favor of environmental considerations. This serves as a critical reflection on the values and priorities of those who advocate for such policies.
Thank you all, take care, God Bless!
