Breastfeeding is the process of feeding a child breast milk, which can be from the breast or pumped. The World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF recommend that babies start breastfeeding within the first hour of birth and continue exclusively for the first six months.
You can store freshly expressed or pumped breast milk at room temperature for up to four hours, in the refrigerator for up to four days, or in the freezer for up to 12 months.
