President-elect Trump is poised to sign an executive order on his first day in office, effectively stopping all new foreign aid unless it directly benefits U.S. interests, cutting off funding to groups linked to terrorism or anti-American agendas. Among the first targets is expected to be the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which could see its funding from the U.S. immediately cut off.
