Louise, a little girl (11), was discovered dead during the night of Friday-Saturday 7/8 February in a wooded area after having disappeared leaving the Andre Maurois School, where she was a pupil at Epinay-sur-Orge (Essonne), Valeurs Actuelles has learned from a police source. The body of the victim was discovered at 2:30 am, according to information furnished by the Prosecutor of the Republic of Evry, Gregoire Dulin.

Two suspects were arrested by Bac (police) for kidnapping at their home at Epinay-sur-Orge at 00:45 tonight and placed in custody, a man, 23, of “North African type”, and who has 6 criminal record entries, and a woman, 20, “European type”, who says she is his partner and who has no known criminal record, a police source tells Valeurs Actuelles. They were arrested at the entrance to their residence without incident.

Verifications are underway, the prosecutor at Evry stated. He announced that an investigation for murder of a minor of 15 (sic?) years of age has been launched.

Disappearance and murder of Louise in Essonne: According to a local police source, Rayan B. and his partner, Clea G., have reportedly been exonerated.

According to this same source, the suspicion toward Rayan B. was based on his resemblance to a man visible on video-surveillance images, just behind Louise on the Corbeille route, shortly before her disappearance (see image captured below)

The investigations carried out would have nonetheless, removed all suspicion toward them. The investigation continues.
