DECISION DAY: Special Elections in Florida and Wisconsin Will Determine Balance of Power in D.C.
These are red districts and one would think the Republicans would win handily. Perhaps it’s exactly that kind thinking that have put these seats in jeopardy. Because Republicans are not showing up to vote and the Democrat party is and their leftwing billionaire are dumping tens of millions, astonishing amounts of money, into these races.
These are races that should not, under ordinary circumstances, be on anyone’s political radar.
The Wisconsin election decides who controls The House of Representatives and Voter ID
“The single biggest challenge, I think is actually just making people aware that there is this very important election. There’s both the very important election for Judge Schimel as well as the deciding on, on adding voter ID to the Wisconsin Constitution institution, which is very, very important. (Elon Musk)
This race is already the most expensive judicial election in U.S. history, with spending exceeding $81 million as of late March, per the Brennan Center for Justice, and projections suggest it could hit $100 million by the end.
On Tuesday, April 1 Wisconsin voters will head to the polls to put a new justice on the Badger State’s Supreme Court… The race for the seat (which is being vacated by retiring Justice Ann Bradley) is between Susan Crawford, a former Obama administration official, and former Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel. “He spent his life upholding the constitution, the rule law, keeping bad guys behind bars. She spent the last seven or eight years pandering to the left and letting those bad guys out of bars. That’s a good way to summarize it,” former Republican Governor Scott Walker tells Townhall… Given Wisconsin is a swing state and the court will determine future congressional districting, the race will have national implications. The wrong result could put a stop to President Donald Trump’s agenda (Townhall).
If we don’t win this Supreme Court race on Tuesday, this will be the new norm. Susan Crawford WILL end voter ID. Vote for Brad Schimel (X).
Florida Races:
Voters around Central Florida are heading to the polls in several special elections throughout the state Tuesday. One election in particular could impact the balance of power in Washington, D.C. This special election was called after President Donald Trump nominated Rep. Michael Waltz to National Security Advisor at the beginning of his term. Waltz won the district by 33%, making it one that was previously thought of as a shoo-in for Republicans to fill. However, recent polling in the race has indicated a stronger chance for Democrats looking to narrow the gap. Florida Politics released a poll last week that showed Republican candidate and Florida state Sen. Randy Fine had just a four point lead in the race…President Donald Trump has endorsed Fine and took part in a tele-rally for him just a short time ago. And the president’s close advisor, Elon Musk, is also getting involved in the race. Musk’s political action committee, America PAC, gave just over $10,000 to Fine’s campaign for “texting services.” Musk’s PAC also gave the same amount to current Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis’ campaign for the U.S. House District 1 seat (Spectrum News).
DC Draino: Florida CD-1 – Go vote for Jimmy Patronis for Congress to fill Gaetz’s seat. Florida CD-6 – Go vote for Randy Fine for Congress to fill Mike Waltz’s seat. No excuses – Give Trump the votes he needs to pass the MAGA agenda in Congress (X)!
