Assange arrest: vengeful imperialists punishing people who expose their heinous crimes
Mainstream media traditionally denounced independent journalists who understood and wrote about destabilizing, abusive and oppressive US foreign policies. The shameful mainstream media called Truth-tellers irresponsible, unpatriotic and branded them as conspiracy theorists until Julian Assange provided documentary evidence which confirmed the duplicity and heinous crimes perpetrated by the US government. Without a doubt, policies and activities of the US military and US corporations in foreign countries are much like the policies of South Africa’s old government of apartheid, except crimes against humanity by the US government are perpetrated on a global scale and with as much if not more injustice, violence and killing. The main difference is that violence and exploitation by the US government takes place too far away for citizens of the USA to notice and these oppressive, destabilizing US foreign policies are disguised and sold as humanitarian intervention.
It’s high time that we acknowledge the duplicity and heinous crimes perpetrated by the US government. The world should call them out as real evil and vilify people in the US Senate and congress who support destabilizing, abusive and oppressive US foreign policies.
The US government championed the anti-apartheid movement and sanctions which led to the downfall of South Africa’s old government of apartheid; but sadly, the US is too big a bully for anyone to challenge. Other corrupt and complicit governments share in the advantages and spoils of US wars of aggression and keep their mouths shut except for Iran: Their government declared US Central Command a “Terror Organization.” Amazing how little outcry there has been to Julian Assange’s arrest and contrived charge of criminal activity.
