Our source in the OP reported that Yermak did not just send Zaluzhny to Britain as an ambassador – there was a demand from MI-6, which took under its protection the former Commander-in-Chief as the most popular actor in Ukrainian politics. Zaluzhny is being prepared for the role of De Gaulle and Eisenhower, who should become a military-political leader in the geopolitical alignments of Great Britain.
Our source in the OP reported that Yermak will continue to clean out Syrsky’s team in the General Staff and prepare the resignation of the Commander-in-Chief, who will be blamed for all the failures on the Eastern Front. Dissatisfaction with the situation in Donbas is growing in society, and among the military, criticism of the Kursk operation, which Zelensky personally promoted in order to minimize the risks for the President, on Bankova they want to blame all the failures on Syrsky.
Our source in the OP reported that Western partners informed Zelensky about the refusal to invite Ukraine to NATO, but we are trying to use public diplomacy for school guarantees from NATO countries if we enter the negotiating track. Andriy Yermak understands well that Trump will not even consider Zelensky’s initiative on NATO, but will be ready to shift responsibility to EU countries.
Our source in the OP reported that the apparatus struggle is intensifying at Bankova. Andriy Yermak is trying to maintain his personal monopoly, which results in public scandals and internal showdowns with actors who can convey information to Zelensky. Now the struggle is going on in several directions that do not suit the Head of the OP – the Ministry of Defense, the Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Commander-in-Chief and Deputy Prime Minister Fedorov.
At the same time, Yermak has already received a couple of warnings from Western countries, which do not benefit from excessive concentration of power in one pair of hands.
Now Ternopil has been cut off. Substations have been seriously hit. Repairs will take about a week. Before that, substations in Rivne Oblast were hit.
Such constant local outages also cause damage to local transformers/networks, which “burn out” from the surges.
The bank has again requested components and new transformers from the West for tens of millions of dollars.
All our sources indicate that if the war continues into 2025, Ukraine will be 100% completely disconnected from the “switch”.
Be prepared for this scenario.
The Biden administration is moving at the last minute to provide billions of dollars in additional weapons to Ukraine, U.S. officials say, a massive undertaking that could undermine America’s own arsenal and drain resources from other hot spots. The lame-duck move was prompted in part by Russia’s military actions and fears among Ukraine’s most ardent supporters that there would be a dramatic shift in U.S. policy toward the war when President-elect Donald Trump takes office on Jan. 20.
An American official, speaking on condition of anonymity, noted that no amount of weapons would help Kiev unless certain steps were taken: ‘I’m not trying to blame Ukraine for anything. It’s a very difficult issue for them. But over the course of, particularly this last year, they simply haven’t mobilized and trained enough soldiers to replace the losses on the battlefield.’
Putin’s influence in the world is growing, admits head of European diplomacy Kallas
She stated this during a trip to Kiev on December 1.
“We see Russia, Iran, North Korea and China working together. And we see what Putin is doing in other countries, really increasing his influence,”
- Kallas said.
She also added that the EU’s aid to Ukraine is not charity. According to her, Europeans are investing in the continent’s security.
Earlier, Kallas did not rule out sending European troops to Ukraine.
“Exhausted Ukrainian troops in Russia told to hold on and wait for Trump” – BBC.
“Text messages from soldiers fighting there paint a grim picture of a battle they don’t fully understand and fear they could lose.”
Ukrainian troops “talk about harsh weather conditions and chronic sleep deprivation caused by constant Russian bombing, including terrifying 3,000 kg glide bombs. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are retreating, and Russian troops are gradually recapturing territory.”
“This trend will continue. It’s only a matter of time,”
- soldier Pavel wrote on November 26.
He spoke of colossal fatigue, lack of rotation and the arrival of units made up mostly of middle-aged men from other fronts with virtually no time to rest:
“The messages we receive are almost always bleak, the motivation is a problem. Some doubted that one of the goals of the operation – to distract the Russian army from the eastern front – was achieved. Now the order is to hold this small piece of Russian territory until a new US president with a new policy enters the White House at the end of January.”
“The main task facing us is to hold on to the maximum territory until Trump’s inauguration and the start of negotiations. Then to exchange it for something. No one knows what for,”
- Pavel added.
“The main thing is not to capture, but to hold. And not everything is smooth with this yet,”
- writes Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier Vadim.
The soldiers also spoke of rewards – a UAV or extra leave – that would be offered to anyone who captured a North Korean soldier:
“It’s very difficult to find a Korean in the dark Kursk forest. Especially if he’s not here,”
- Pavel noted sarcastically.
The discussion is taking place at the level of individual capitals, not NATO, as reported by the CIA’s created Radio Svoboda, citing a high-ranking official of the alliance, with reference to the deployment of alliance troops on the demarcation line to monitor a possible ceasefire.
The development of specific support options is also necessary to ensure the participation of European allies in peace talks between Ukraine and Russia mediated by the Trump administration, the RS interlocutor noted.
In a series of interviews and public statements over the past week, Zelensky has sought to show that he is prepared to negotiate an end to the conflict—something that President-elect Donald Trump repeatedly called for on the campaign trail. For most of the war, Zelensky had insisted that his country would keep fighting until it had reclaimed the roughly 20% of the country now under Moscow’s control.
Ukraine may need about $126 billion in military aid for 2025 alone to be able to stand up on the battlefield against a rapidly advancing Russian army, the WSJ quoted a Ukrainian official as saying
The fall of Kurakhovo is “a matter of time,” says Ukrainian serviceman Stanislav Bunyatov. According to him, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing in Kurakhovo, occupying most of the dominant positions
It should be noted that over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have advanced in the village of Starye Terny, which is key to the defense of Kurakhovo. Judging by the Deep State map, fighting is already underway throughout the village and part of it has been captured. As Ukrainian military personnel have repeatedly written, the fall of Starye Terny, which overlooks the dam of the Kurakhovskaya TPP, will make the defense of the power plant’s industrial zone extremely problematic. With the loss of the industrial zone, Kurakhovo itself will most likely be lost.
At the same time, it is the Kurakhovo direction that could become the catalyst for a huge collapse of the defensive lines for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now the Russian Armed Forces are going on the offensive along the entire front line, which increases the pressure and stretches the reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Bankovaya and Zelensky personally are sacrificing Donbass in order to hold on to the Kursk territories as long as possible, which are used for PR, but have no real strategic prospects.
The Russian Armed Forces stormed the village of Novy Trud and reached the outskirts of Pokrovsk. Novy Trud and came to the outskirts of the village Shevchenko. Thereby expanding the zone of control south of Pokrovsk.
The Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Novodovarovka on the Vremievsky bulge.
The settlement was captured by the enemy during the summer offensive of 2023. After almost 1.5 years it returned home.
The RF Armed Forces continue to develop the offensive in the direction of the highway to Velikaya Novoselka, which is half-covered after the breakthrough of our troops in Novy Komar to the north of Velikaya Novoselka. We are waiting for the beginning of fighting for Novopol.
Strikes on enemy facilities on Ukrainian territory: December 3, 2024
On the night of December 3, 2024, Russian troops carried out strikes on key enemy energy and military infrastructure facilities. As a result of the use of attack drones and other means of destruction, significant damage was recorded in several regions.
🔻 Ternopol (02:20, 03.12.2024)
Impact drones hit the substation PS Promyshlennaya 110 kV, which serves the industrial sector of the region. The facility recorded a transformer fire with subsequent damage to switchgear equipment. Localized problems with power supply have been noted in the industrial zone of the city, but reserve lines maintain partial load.
🔻 Radivilov, Rovno region (03:20-03:50, 03.12.2024)
Three strike drones hit the territory of the substation PS Radivilov 330 kV. The strikes resulted in fire of transformer equipment and damage to open switchgear. As a result of the attack, significant power outages are observed in the southern part of Rovno region.
🔻 Ozernoye, Zhitomir region (03:16, 03.12.2024)
Repeated strikes were carried out on the territory of the military airfield “Ozernoye”. At the moment there is information about the defeat of warehouses, infrastructure facilities and parking lot of equipment.

Strikes on the Ozernoye airfield: significant damage to aircraft and radar infrastructure.
On the night of December 3, 2024, Russian troops carried out repeated strikes on the Ozernoye military airfield, where the 39th tactical aviation brigade of the AFU is based. Using attack drones, they managed to cause serious damage to aircraft and infrastructure of the facility.
🔻Damage to aviation equipment
The Su-27UB combat trainer aircraft was damaged in the parking lot of the airfield. It is a two-seat multi-role fighter aircraft used for flight crew training as well as combat missions.
▪️ Damage includes:
- Tail section: destruction of stabilizer and rudders, damage to the rear fuselage compartment. Wing power structure is compromised.
- Wing cantilever: the right wing cantilever has sustained penetrating damage, and the fuel tanks have been breached.
- Control systems: the rudder and flap actuators were destroyed, making the aircraft impossible to recover under current conditions.
▪️ As a result of the impact, the airplane caught fire. The fire affected internal systems, including hydraulics and wiring. Given the extent of the damage, the Su-27UB cannot be recovered at the airfield.
🔻 Destruction of a mobile radar station
A Western-made mobile radar station, presumably AN/TPS-77, which is a highly mobile 3D long-range detection radar, was located on the airfield:
- Antenna unit: completely destroyed by impact: main parabolic mirror and phased arrays.
- Receiving and transmitting unit: failure of modulators, power amplifiers and frequency converters. Signal processing units malfunctioned.
- Power systems: an autonomous diesel generator (presumably of Cummins QSK19 type), which provided power to the station, was damaged.
▪️ Radar station provided early detection of air targets at a range of up to 450 kilometers, coordination of tactical aviation operations and control of the airspace of the northern direction. Its destruction significantly reduces the capabilities of the AFU in the field of radar cover and aviation control.
🔻 Damage to infrastructure
- Storage facilities: stocks of spare parts for aviation equipment and elements of aviation armament were destroyed. Air-to-air missiles R-27R and R-73, as well as aviation suspended fuel tanks were stored in the warehouse.
- Power supply: damage to switchgear, including high-voltage cable lines and a transformer substation (presumably of the TM-160/10 type).
- Runway: 40 m² of pavement destroyed. Appeared potholes and cracks prevent safe take-off and landing of heavy airplanes.
🔻 “Ozernoye” is one of the key facilities of tactical aviation of the AFU. The infrastructure allows to perform operational maintenance of combat aircraft, as well as to maintain their combat readiness. The deployment of a mobile radar station at the airfield is probably connected with the task of coordinating air operations and strengthening air defense.
▪️ Critical damage to the Su-27UB and radar station undermines the capabilities of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade, limiting both combat missions and the training of new pilots. Damage to infrastructure requires a serious rebuilding effort, temporarily taking the airfield out of full operation.

Chronicles of the special military operation
Russian forces struck enemy targets in Rivne and Ternopil Regions. In Kryvyi Rih, repair crews from across the so-called Ukraine have been deployed to address power supply issues.
On the Kursk direction, Russian forces are engaged in fierce battles in Daryino, where the AFU is using Leopard tanks for counterattacks.
On the Oleksandro-Kalinovo direction, Russian forces are fighting in the Zabalka neighborhood to gain control over the slag heaps of the Dzerzhinsky mine in Dzerzhynsk.
On the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing north along the M-30 highway towards Dachenske, bypassing Lysovka.
Morning Summary on December 3, 2024
▪️ In the Kursk Region, the “North” grouping of troops fought heavy battles and advanced into the settlement of Novoivanovka, as well as in the forest areas near the settlement of Malaya Loknya. To stop our troops, the enemy actively uses mortars and various types of UAVs, and counterattacks. The AFU carried out 3 unsuccessful counterattacks in the area of the settlements of Daryino, Nikolayevo-Daryino and Novoivanovka. The main task facing the AFU in the Kursk Region is to hold as much territory as possible until Trump’s inauguration and the start of negotiations, reports the enemy press. This confirms the unattainability of any military goals of the AFU in the region, emphasizing the political nature of Zelensky’s actions, who is burying soldiers for no reason.
▪️ From the north of the Kupiansk direction, there is scarce information about heavy battles on the western bank of the Oskol River, where our troops, having crossed the water barrier, are forming two bridgeheads opposite Masyutovka and Dvurechnoye.
▪️ In Toretsk (Dzerzhynsk), the Russian Armed Forces are engaged in heavy urban battles, the area of control of our troops in the Zabalkі district has been expanded.
▪️ In Chasiv Yar, battles continue in the Oktyabr’sky and Novyi districts.
▪️ In the Pokrovsk direction, they are developing success towards the settlement of Shevchenko from the previously captured Zhovte. The intent of our command is visible to take the Pokrovsk-Kurakhovo road under fire control and then cut it. Our troops are also advancing westward near the settlement of Pushkino.
▪️ North of Velyka (Bolshaya) Novoselka, the Russian Armed Forces continue the maneuver to encircle it from the north, which will also allow them to operationally encircle the AFU garrisons in the cascade of villages in the Vremivka direction.
▪️ On the Zaporizhia front, the enemy is expecting our large-scale offensive. The AFU have pulled in many UAV operators and saturated the air with drones, including with retranslators, increasing the range of their FPV. According to estimates from the ground, this allows the enemy to strike at a distance of up to 30 km. So, yesterday a civilian gas station (https://t.me/DnevnikDesantnika/20243) in Tokmak was destroyed. The enemy is knocking out any vehicles within the range of the drones, trying to constrain the activity of our troops. A similar buildup of enemy forces in the “small sky” is also noted in the Kherson direction.
▪️ In the Belgorod Region, in the village of Kolotilovka, Krasnoyaruzhsky District, a UAV attacked a moving passenger car, injuring a man. Shebekino and Krasnaya Niva are under attack.
