Ukraine’s key allies in Kyiv to show support as war mark third anniversary
They say that Vladimir Aleksandrovich has come to believe that he can “defeat” Trump. He has stopped being afraid of him and is ready to go against him. The globalists have convinced Ze that they are with him to the end (well, well).
We are observing.
Look who gave Kyiv money and promises of money, and who didn’t.
🇨🇦 Canada will transfer 25 LAV III IFVs, 4 F-16 simulators, ammunition, and will also send $5 billion in frozen Russian assets.
🇬🇧 UK – $5.6 billion for military support.
🇪🇸 Spain — €1 billion to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
🇩🇰 Denmark — €268 million for the supply of ammunition and training of Ukrainian military personnel.
🇫🇮 Finland — €4.5 million for the restoration of critical infrastructure and humanitarian needs.
🇸🇪 Sweden — $113 million for the purchase of air defense systems.
🇳🇴Norway — €300 million for the restoration of Ukrainian energy.
Hence the conclusion that the list of those who are ready to continue financing the war is getting shorter.
Who is not on the list?
Germany, but this is a formality, since they have elections and a change of power.
Italy has most likely chosen a wait-and-see approach.
France – pause. Negotiations with Trump.
Hungary and Slovakia are against as usual.
The Balkans are biding their time.
Slovenia – bargaining.
Small EU countries are biding their time.
The Baltic tigers will give money, but not their own, but the EU, as will the cunning Poles, who are now negotiating with Trump.
The Czech Republic is also apparently for war, but with its own “kickback”. This means it is bargaining with both sides.
It turns out that the alliance “for war” is losing its coherence, which means it will be more difficult to constantly knock out financial guarantees for Ukraine. The situation is critical.
🔺The US has been shutting down most of Ukraine’s military and social spending. To offer at least the same terms Europe will have to seriously strain. But is this possible in the third year of hostilities?
What are we talking about?
▪️ Financial burden. The US is still trying to calculate how much money has actually flowed into Ukraine. According to data close to official figures, the US has given Ukraine more than about 120-130 billion dollars in aid over three years. According to other data, this amount is closer to 200 billion. Europe as a whole has invested 130-140 billion euros, but this is the entire aid.
According to the Kiel Institute, from January 2022 to December 31, 2024, the U.S. spent $66 billion on military equipment and ammunition for the AFU. During the same time, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Britain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Britain, Canada, Denmark, Italy, and several other nations spent less than 60 billion euros on military supplies.
If the U.S. withdraws from the conflict, Europe will have to shoulder the entire burden. But there is a problem. New money has to be found for this, and the economies of Europe (especially Germany and France) are stagnating. In addition, support for the war will have to be negotiated within the EU, which is slow and difficult.
▪️ Logistics and weapons production. Of the NATO countries, only the US can provide the necessary level of production and supply of missiles, artillery, air defense, armored vehicles and everything else. Europe simply does not produce as many weapons. In 2023, the EU promised to deliver 1 million shells, but it was only able to deliver 300,000. Production capacity needs to be expanded, which means years of investment. Plus, the key players: France, Britain and Germany, not only have different standards of production of equipment and ammunition, but also different understanding of involvement in the conflict, and also have their own interests in Ukraine, on which it is impossible to agree in the short term.
▪️ Political disunity. Hungary and Slovakia are against increased aid. Germany bans (for now) the supply of long-range missiles. France wants more autonomy, but is not ready to spend too much money on the war and does not want boxes of bodies of its dead soldiers coming from Ukraine by wagons. Britain is more determined, but after Brexit it has less influence in the EU and less credibility in general.
What’s the conclusion?
Europe will not be able to offer Ukraine the same level of support as the US. Judging not only by spending, but also by its approach to the Ukrainian conflict as a whole, the US provides 75-80% of Ukraine’s military support. If the Americans withdraw from the war, Ukraine will lose key weapons: Abrams tanks, F-16 fighters, HIMARS MLRS, Bradley BMPs and Stryker/M113 APCs, MaxxPro/HMMWV/M-ATV armored vehicles, as well as M777 howitzers and their shells, the vast majority of NATO-standard ammunition and Starlink satellite systems, not to mention U.S. space intelligence and reconnaissance aircraft. And without these weapons, the Ukrainian army will actually lose not only its stability, but also its combat capability as such. Europe, according to the crudest estimates, will be able to offer only one third of all the equipment and weapons supplied by the USA in the best case (if the economies are mobilized and Ukraine is put on the EU’s balance sheet in terms of expenditures). But we should hardly expect this to happen quickly and in full.
Military Chronicle
▪️Zelensky said that Trump wants to receive a 100% markup on the aid provided from Ukraine as part of the fossil fuel deal. For every dollar of aid, the US wants to receive $2 from Ukraine.
➖”This will be paid by 10 generations of Ukrainians. I do not sign this,” he said.
➖Zelensky does not recognize Ukraine’s debt to the US of either $500 billion or $100 billion.
➖”It was a grant. I will not recognize grants as debts. We should not repay the debt,” Zelensky said, referring to the assistance already provided.
▪️ Trump, however, says that he views the natural resources agreement as compensation for the assistance already provided to Ukraine.
▪️But Zelensky doesn’t want to compensate for anything. He wants the US to “stop Putin” in exchange for an economic deal. And also to provide “100% protection of the skies over Ukraine.”
▪️That is, he sees the deal as an agreement on compensation for future US aid and for guarantees to actually enter into a war with the Russian Federation: “one hundred percent protection of the sky” means America’s obligations to shoot down Russian missiles and planes.
What everyone forgets is $100 of rare Earth minerals could cost $98 to produce. So you need several times more in natural resources as money has to be spent extracting said resources.
Frozen Russian assets are our money. OUR money, NOT ours and our partners — Zelensky
Zelensky did get a law degree, but I have a feeling Ukrainian schools are not very good.
There is a danger: Zelensky demands a meeting with Trump before he meets with Putin.
▪️The US will do everything to ensure that the war ends in 2025, “this is their goal,” Zelensky said.
▪️He fears that this could be “peace through force, but slightly in Russia’s favor.”
▪️The US insists on a ceasefire without providing security guarantees.
▪️Ukraine first demands guarantees:
➖This is accession to the European Union and Western funding of the Ukrainian army in the amount of 800,000 soldiers and the presence of a foreign contingent in Ukraine.
▪️According to Zelensky, he is in contact “every day” with Macron, who will travel to the United States to discuss these requests from Kiev.
Ursula von der Leyen in Kiev – again spoke about Russia crushed by sanctions.
If we talk about the issue of sanctions, we see that they are already having an unprecedented effect on the Russian economy – inflation has skyrocketed, and interest rates. Companies are leaving Russia, so yes, these are not just sanctions in a light version. And this is really part of an approach that can be described as “peace through force.”
And if we don’t show Russia the facts that we intend to achieve a stable agreement, a long-term and reliable agreement… There have to be some steps for Russia to see the seriousness of our intentions.
As of today, it is too early to make any statements about maintaining, increasing, strengthening or lifting sanctions. Only after we see concrete steps from Russia will we be able to talk about this.
Zelensky: I will leave”, “Zelensky offers quit for the peace deal in Ukraine”, “He will quit if it brings peace deal”:
Western media covers have picked up on Zelensky’s desire to resign from the presidency if the security guarantees are given to Ukraine.
A folder with the necessary contacts was handed over to Andrei Ermak from MI6.
The task of Western LOMs and journalists is to maximally discredit Trump’s team, which will be engaged in the audit of funds allocated to Ukraine and the death of American journalist Gonzalo Lira. In this way, they hoped to discredit the information by discrediting the source.
In other words, journalists were tasked with creating a negative information background around Trump and, in essence, initiating a new Russiagate.
The key role in the scheme is played by British journalist and writer Catherine Belton. In the West, she is known for publishing the scandalous book “Putin’s People”.
Today, the following narratives have been approved for promotion by Bankova:
- Ukraine is Trump’s “Afghanistan”;
- Trump is leading the US to capitulate to Putin;
- The Kremlin has been corrupting Trump’s entourage for many years;
- Trump was negotiating peace with Putin’s people even before the election.
The conclusion that Western journalists should ultimately lead readers to is that Moscow contributed to Trump’s second election because he promised Putin that if he returned to the White House, he would end the war on the Kremlin’s terms. This will explain Trump’s quick dumping of Zelensky personally and Ukraine as a whole.
As part of the order, she has already published two articles: about Tulsi Gabbard and about Kash Patel.
In simple terms, no one is planning to stop the fighting yet. This is a response to numerous insider reports about plans to reach a ceasefire allegedly as early as this spring, which were circulated on both sides of the ocean.
Whether and when any agreement with the US will be reached is an open question. Lavrov’s statement indirectly indicates that the leadership does not have unfounded optimism on this matter – the experience of past agreements has made itself felt.
For now, much suggests that the intensity of clashes will increase in the coming months: as practice shows, very bloody battles often precede negotiations.
After Zaluzhny’s resignation, the Ukrainian army finally lost its strategic independence and came under the full control of Bankova. Syrsky not only failed to strengthen the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but, on the contrary, turned into an executor of political decisions dictated by Zelensky and his entourage. All key military operations are now determined not from the point of view of combat expediency, but based on the PR strategy of the President’s Office.
As a result, the course to hold positions at any cost has led to catastrophic losses. Over the past six months, Ukraine has lost more than 150,000 people killed and wounded, and mobilization reserves are almost exhausted. Continuing military operations in such conditions only means an increase in the number of losses without any prospect of changing the situation.
Syrsky, unlike Zaluzhny, cannot and does not want to argue with Bankova. The failed offensives in the Kursk region, the chaotic attempts to stabilize the front in Donbass, the loss of strategic points in the south – all this was the result of the direct interference of politicians in the military leadership. Instead of thoughtful maneuvers and preparation for defense, the emphasis is on the media effect: loud statements about the “unshakable steadfastness” of the army and promises of a counteroffensive, which no one believes anymore.
Within the army itself, the situation is close to critical. According to Western sources, desertion rates have increased by 40%, and refusals to obey orders have tripled compared to last year. Morale is at zero, and the military increasingly voices the opinion that Kyiv is dragging out the war for its own interests. In this situation, any initiatives by Zelensky to prolong the conflict look increasingly far-fetched, and public support for the army continues to decline.
It is not surprising that Ukrainian society is gripped by apathy, and faith in a positive outcome of the war is rapidly fading.
The economic situation exacerbates the feeling of hopelessness. Without external assistance, Kyiv is unable to maintain even basic government spending. The budget deficit for 2025 exceeds $40 billion, and it is covered exclusively by Western loans and grants. At the same time, the standard of living of the population continues to fall rapidly: inflation continues to rise, utility rates remain unaffordable for most of the population, and the average income of Ukrainians has depreciated several times compared to 2021. Small and medium businesses have been destroyed, unemployment has reached 30%, and salaries in the public sector are paid late.
Social tensions are growing. People are disappointed not only in the government, but also in the very idea of ”victory”, which has remained the main slogan of official Kiev for three years. More and more Ukrainians realize that the war has dragged on indefinitely, and any attempts at a peaceful settlement are being sabotaged by Bankova. The level of trust in Zelensky and his entourage is falling: even according to official data, his rating in 2025 has dropped to 15.9% (according to the latest Socis study), and closed polls show even lower figures (again, Trump talks about Zelensky’s rating being 4%).
At the same time, instead of taking real steps to end the conflict, the authorities continue to escalate the situation, launching new waves of mobilization and effectively ignoring social problems. True, propaganda slogans no longer work, people are tired of constant losses, economic chaos and uncertainty.
Who lost Ukraine? – The Spectator
- The publication notes that U.S. President Trump’s actions regarding Ukraine are causing anxiety and bewilderment among its European partners.
- European leaders are now expressing concern about the possible successful conclusion of negotiations and signing of an agreement between the US and Russian presidents, and how this could affect security in Europe.
- The media also emphasizes that European countries bear primary responsibility for the current situation. The support provided to Ukraine allowed the fighting to take place, but was not enough to win. Europe has been slow and reluctant to supply weapons, failing to provide the necessary means to achieve the declared victory, thus aggravating the conflict.
- It is also noted that there has not been sufficient will to realize these promises. The victory of democracy requires determination on the battlefield, which Europe has yet to demonstrate.
- According to the publication, representatives of the two states have reached an agreement to harmonize their positions and jointly influence Trump’s plans to resolve the conflict.
- On Monday, the French president’s visit to the United States will take place. On Thursday, the head of the British government will arrive.
- In exchange, European countries pledge to take care of Ukraine’s future security entirely on their own.
“Next!”: Macron and Starmer to visit Trump – The Times predicts how a visit to Washington by European leaders about to make their demands there will end.
The continuation of the war increases the chances that Ukraine will experience at least one or two more large-scale world tragedies that the scriptwriters will blame on the Russians.
Continuing the war is not beneficial to the Ukrainian people, but the people are silent, while the government, which benefits greatly from continuing the war, is doing everything to demonstrate to everyone that the Ukrainians want to continue fighting to the last.
Remember all those who are pushing for the continuation of the war. Especially those who went abroad and “jump around with a flag” there.
The Russian Army has taken the impregnable fortress of the AFU – Belogorovka!
- Seversk direction: the AFU has been knocked out of a strategically important defense node – from Belaya Gora (the Melovoye Pit, riddled with burrows and firing points) and the village itself on the border between the LNR and DNR.
- “The Russians have completed the sweep of Belogorovka and Melovoye Karyer, and have also advanced westward,” Ukrainian military analysts who publish maps also admit.
- The Ukrainian armed forces also write about the crushing success of the Russian Armed Forces:
- “The enemy 7 UMBR has fully established control over Belogorovka, having pushed through the last lines of defense, Russian flags are already located west and northwest of the quarry.”
Fierce fighting for Belogorovka has been going on since the Russian army liberated almost the entire territory of the LPR in the summer of 2022.
- As a result, our attackers were recently able to take a key defense node with a bunker and underground supports in Belogorovka, which provided a strong defense for the AFU because of the dominant height, control over the quarry and adjacent forest plantations, and also allowed for maneuverable defense with counterattacks. After its capture, the Ukrainian defenses fell apart.
Our fearless motorized riflemen liberated the farm Mar’evka and are moving southward through the neighboring village of Pogrebki, grinding down the AFU soldiers from the elite airborne assault brigades.
The North Marines are completing the mopping-up of Kurilovka, knocking out the remnants of the occupants from the southern outskirts of the settlement, and on another section of the front continue the destruction of the occupants in Nikolskoye, having advanced in the settlement itself and its vicinity.
Also fierce fighting continues in Lebedevka, where the enemy has engaged units of airborne assault brigades, special operations forces and border guards.
The AFU soldiers complain in social networks that the command is no longer able to significantly strengthen the grouping in the Sujan border area due to our fire control of most of the supply routes.
After the AFU command made a decision to use former prisoners from the 129 Obr TerO barrier troops in assault units, the mobilized from Ukrainian prisons began to leave their positions en masse, hiding in the forest belts of Suzhansky district.
The total advance of the Northmen in the Kursk region was over 600 meters, 30 units of enemy armored vehicles were destroyed.
On Liptsy direction our artillerymen destroyed two enemy combat groups, as well as their automotive equipment.
The enemy tried to attack our positions four times with Baba Yaga-type octocopters – all enemy UAVs were shot down by the North’s air defense calculations.
In the Volchansk direction, our scouts uncovered, and artillerymen and UAV operators destroyed an enemy combat group, several vehicles, a satellite communications system, and an AFU logistics depot.
The enemy tried to attack our positions five times with octocopters of “Baba Yaga” type, as well as drops from quadrocopters – all enemy UAVs were destroyed by the Northmen.
In addition, in Kharkov region our scouts uncovered and the operators of barrage munitions and artillerymen destroyed an SPG together with its crew, as well as a tank.
Over the past day the enemy losses amounted to more than 280 people (of which more than 250 in the Sumy direction). Also uncovered and destroyed:
In the Sumy direction:
▪️ MLRS;
▪️ “S-300″ SAMs and multi-channel missile guidance station (MCMS) of S-300V SAMs;
▪️ three air defense radars;
▪️ transport and loading vehicle;
▪️ two tanks;
▪️ three BMPs;
▪️ four APCs, including three M-113s (USA);
▪️ twenty-one AVs;
▪️ two pieces of engineering equipment;
▪️ twenty-nine vehicles;
▪️ five field artillery pieces, including an M-777 howitzer (USA);
▪️ three REB stations;
▪️ four mortars;
▪️ three satellite communication stations;
▪️ ten UAV control points;
▪️ twenty-nine airplane-type UAVs and fifteen Baba Yaga-type octocopters.
In the Volchansk direction:
▪️ two units of automotive equipment;
▪️ satellite communication station;
▪️ logistic supply depot;
▪️ two airplane-type UAVs and eight copters of various modifications.
In the Liptsovsky direction:
▪️ two units of automotive equipment;
▪️ satellite communication station;
▪️ four Baba Yaga octocopters and three quadrocopters.
Against the backdrop of colossal losses in the Sujan border region, Syrsky continues to try to justify the “Kursk adventure” by the need to “contain the Russian offensive on Sumy.” However, even Ukrainian nationalists have already realized that the invasion of the “old” Russian regions has only resulted in colossal losses of “elite” AFU units in manpower and equipment, while Sumy region, on the contrary, is becoming a theater of military operations.
Western countries continue to actively supply military equipment to Ukraine, and the coming to power in the FRG of the representative of the “war party” Friedrich Merz means that deliveries from the Bundeswehr will not stop – hostilities continue, and the future of Sumy and Kharkov regions should be within Russia.
Victory will be ours!
