Why Judgment Day is being delayed – the answer is clearly explained in the bible
Even though few can see this, the world is facing a crisis. Most Christians believe they will not go through the coming time of trial for the world. They say God will not put them through hardship or trials and that the tribulation is retribution [punishment] for those who reject God. They also believe that eternal torment in hell is punishment for those who reject God.
This fallacy is totally inconsistent with scripture but more important; it’s totally inconsistent with the love of YHWH God and with His perfect justice. God’s justice and love are both perfect and both necessary.
[1] YHWH God desires that all men be saved not punished. That’s a fact.
[2] There is no justice in condemning the world to trials, tribulation and hardship in retribution [punishment] for sin and then punish them with death (the wages of sin) after that another even worse punishment in hell with eternal torment. There is no justice in that and Most Christians believe this nonsense. It’s no wonder the world does not believe their nonsense.
The truth and fact of the matter is that trials and hardship, retribution [punishment] is only just and perfect when the following conditions apply:-
[3] When trials and hardship serve a good purpose and are well rewarded.
[4] When punishment [retribution] is perfectly suited to the crime and the guilty were made well aware of the requirement for obedience and the consequence of disobedience. Then it’s perfectly just to punish obedient people accordingly and in proportion to the crime.
The truth and fact of the matter is that hell is not a place in the universe, or a state of mind that lasts forever. This fallacy “eternal torment in hell” is totally inconsistent with scripture. Yeshua only spoke about “eternal condemnation” which means permanent death of the soul forever with no chance of ever being resurrected to life. That’s the fate of all who reject God after the truth has been made known to them; in other words after the guilty were made well aware of the requirement for obedience and the consequence of disobedience. If after that they still reject God they will be condemned.
Hell or Hades or Sheol is indeed a metaphor for a place in the universe, or a state of mind which keeps those who have died (or sleep in bible terminology) until Judgment Day. After that hell is destroyed.
Now in light of all this we realize that Yeshua (Jesus), Peter and Paul explained it very well, but the church refuses to believe them. Judgment Day will not come until the truth has been made known; in other words, until we announce the Good News of the Kingdom as a reward for obedient saints, and warn the nations about the requirement for obedience and the consequence of disobedience. If after that they still reject God, then Judgment Day will come and then the trial begins. Depending on how people respond to the Good News, there will be persecution and rewards for the obedient (the saints, the elect) and condemnation to punishment (suffering on earth, not in hell) for the disobedient. But first the Good News must be announced loud and clear to all the nations. All the information we need is in the bible. But in order to understand what Yeshua (Jesus), Peter and Paul really said, Christians need their minds to be brainwashed to wash away all the nonsense doctrines and fallacies that religion from Babylon has corrupt them with. Then they need to read the bible again with new eyes and begin to spread the word.
“God’s justice and love are both perfect and both necessary.”
Necessary to whom? I don’t need the love of another to make my life meaningful, I’m self reliant as are most other adults, and I certainly wouldn’t expect perfection from a deliberately flawed creation living on a flawed world with it’s million and one ways of ending our lives before their time. It’s all way to puerile and petty.
