Another Prophetic End-Times Clue: The Red Heffer. You are Not Going to Believe this One!

The rebuilding of the Third Temple in Jerusalem stands as one of the most pivotal prophetic signs of the end times. It is something that is tangible, distinct, and is a defining event, specific to the beginning of the Tribulation Period.

Recent advancements have highlighted remarkable progress in preparation efforts, even amid geopolitical challenges surrounding the Temple Mount. Those involved in building the temple have been meticulously preparing for years.

In this preparation, there is something that dramatically stands out which seems to have a deadline. A deadline that produces an additional clue as to the timing of this temple’s construction. That biblical event is known as the Red Heffer Purification. Let’s study this in greater detail.

The red heifer is a significant aspect of biblical prophecy and ritual purification, particularly in connection to the construction of the Third Temple in Jerusalem. Here are the key scriptures that mention or relate to the red heifer.

This is the foundational passage describing the red heifer and its use in purification rituals.

Numbers 19:2-10

.Verse 2: “This is the ordinance of the law which the Lord hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke.”

The chapter outlines the process of sacrificing the red heifer, burning it entirely, and using its ashes mixed with water for purification.

This purification process was critical for cleansing those who became ritually impure, particularly through contact with death. In the context of the Third Temple, the red heifer’s ashes are needed to purify the priests and the temple site itself.

As indicated in this scripture, this cow must be “perfect”. The heifers are regularly inspected by trained rabbis to ensure they meet all biblical requirements:

*Completely red in color, with no more than two non-red hairs.

*Free from physical blemishes or deformities.

*Must not have been yoked, used for labor, or impregnated.

*Even a small injury or blemish could disqualify them at any time.

Ezekiel 36:24-28

Although not directly mentioning the red heifer, this prophecy connects ritual purification to the restoration of Israel and the future temple:

Verse 25: “Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.” This sprinkling of clean water parallels the ritual purification with the ashes of the red heifer.

The New Testament references the red heifer as a symbol of purification under the Old Covenant:

Hebrews 9:13-14

“For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:”

“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

This passage connects the red heifer’s ritual to the ultimate cleansing through Christ, highlighting its symbolic role.

4. Daniel 9:27

This verse doesn’t mention the red heifer but ties directly into the broader prophetic context of the Third Temple:

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease…”

The need for sacrifices implies the existence of a functioning temple, which includes the purification requirements fulfilled by the red heifer.

In recent years, groups preparing for the Third Temple have worked to breed red heifers that meet the scriptural requirements. These efforts are seen as pivotal to fulfilling prophecy, as the ritual purification with the red heifer’s ashes is necessary to reestablish temple worship.

Let’s take a look into the history of trying to locate these “perfect” Red Heffers.

The Jewish people have been searching for an unblemished red heifer for over 2,000 years, ever since the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 AD.

Historically, Jewish writings and oral tradition suggest that only nine red heifers have been used for purification rituals since the time of Moses. According to Mishnah Parah 3:5, it is believed that the 10th red heifer will be prepared by the Messiah.

Five red heifers were brought to Israel in September 2022 and have garnered significant attention, especially among groups preparing for the rebuilding of the Third Temple. These heifers were bred and raised in Texas by ranchers working in collaboration with the Temple Institute, an organization in Jerusalem dedicated to the restoration of Temple worship and rituals.

The red heifers were transported to Israel under strict supervision to ensure they remained unblemished during the process.

They were housed in a secure and undisclosed location, where they continue to be closely monitored by rabbinical authorities.

According to Numbers 19, a red heifer must be at least two years old but less than three years old to be sacrificed.

The heifers imported in 2022 are approaching the critical age of maturity, which means they could be sacrificed in 2024 or 2025 if deemed valid. Herein lies our timing clue regarding when the temple might start construction.

Historical data suggests that the probability of finding such a perfect Red Heffer is extremely rare, yet five were discovered and brought to Israel in 2022. Impossible, right? I’d say that it’s more like prophetic. Within this group of five, there will be ONE used to fulfill the prophecy needed to cleanse the temple. This is INCREDIABLE!

And, with these cows, the timeclock has started ticking down, day by day. They must be less than 3 years old to qualify for the sacrifice, and that time will come to an end in 2025. Again… INCREDIABLE.

I’d like you to listen with your “spiritual ears” for a moment. The Seven-year Tribulation Period is about to begin. Peace was just declared in Israel on January 14, 2025. The Seven-year peace treaty will soon follow. That coupled with the time ending this year for the use of the qualified Red Heffers to cleans the temple, suggests that the Tribulation Period will begin this year… 2025!

What an exciting time to be alive! The veil between God and Man is thinning. The biblical prophecies written thousands of years ago are happening right before our eyes. Can you feel the significance of all of this? Can you hear the whisperings from God declaring the truthfulness of what I have written?

Although it is not time to “pack your bags,” It certainly is time to continue growing closer to Jesus Christ. He is preparing to come and rescue us from the destruction that will surely come upon the earth. That time is not now, but will happen when God sees fit.
