The Parting of the Red Sea. Why Understanding this Miricle Might “Save Your Life!”

I’m fascinated with the study of religious history. There are so many events that took place upon our earth that demonstrate the characteristics of God, and His relationship with us, His children.

We are living in the end times, which actually gives us the advantage of learning from history. God’s interactions that have taken place already, are a firm indicator of what we can expect from Him in our future.

The evidence that we are living in the last days is overwhelming, and something that I have written about in great detail in some of my earlier articles. For some, knowing that we’re in this period of time actually creates fear and anxiety. We are made aware of satans plan to try and destroy the righteous people… Refusing to take his mark will result in financial hardship, and even death. It is for those people who are afraid of the adversary that I write this article today.

I must begin by asking you how much faith you place in our Heavenly Father. Do you see Him as a source of power? Do you know Him? Is He part of your daily life, or just an unknown entity that you have heard bits and pieces about? your faith

I write about God today from my perspective and belief in Him. I do this in hopes to assist you through some of your fear of the end times. If necessary, let me shoulder you through the “scary end times.”

One of the greatest divine rescues from God assisting His people was His parting of the Red Sea. Let me briefly share the story.

Moses’ story of leading the Israelites to freedom begins when he was chosen by God to deliver His people from slavery in Egypt. Moses, raised as an Egyptian prince, eventually fled Egypt after killing an Egyptian taskmaster who was mistreating an Israelite. After living in exile for many years, God appeared to Moses in a burning bush and commanded him to return to Egypt and demand that Pharaoh release the Israelites.

Moses reluctantly agreed and returned to Egypt with his brother Aaron. He confronted Pharaoh, telling him that God commanded the release of the Israelites. Pharaoh refused, and God sent a series of ten plagues on Egypt, each one more severe than the last. The plagues included locusts, frogs, darkness, and the death of the firstborn children of Egypt.

I would like to note here that the people that wanted to flee Egypt, are similar to you and me today. There will soon be an “Evil Person” who will be called the Anti-Christ that will insist that we submit under his rule, and worship him. The righteous people will resist, finding themselves in a similar position as these Israelites.

The story continues. The final plague was the most devastating. God instructed the Israelites to mark their doorposts with lamb’s blood, so the “angel of death” would pass over their homes. Pharaoh, devastated by the death of his son, finally relented and allowed the Israelites to leave. They were finally free! And most importantly, they were free due to the hand of God.

After the Israelites left, Pharaoh changed his mind and pursued them with his army. This army had been given the orders to destroy all of the Israelites.

Moses and his followers were trapped at the edges of the red sea. They had nowhere to go-they were now stuck, and would surely die. In a miracle, God was with them at this moment and could see their struggle, and doomed situation.

Through Moses calling upon God for help, he parted the Red Sea, allowing all of the Israelites to cross on to dry land, on the other side. When Pharaoh’s army attempted to follow, the waters returned, drowning the Egyptian soldiers. Moses led the Israelites to freedom, and they began their journey through the wilderness toward the Promised Land.

Was this just a story, or did it actually occur? Here are some interesting findings that lend credibility to the event.

Above is one of many pictures taken of a gilded chariot wheel that remains on the sea floor. It was discovered by Ron Wyatt using a molecular frequency generator from his boat above, after he set the equipment to look for gold.

The Bible stated all the chariots of Egypt and 600 choice chariots, or gold veneered models, were in the army pursuing God’s people. It is hypothesized there were 20,000 chariots wiped out that day. Above, right, is a drawing of a 4 spoke chariot discovered in an Egyptian burial place from the exact same period. 4, 6 and 8 spoke wheels are discovered here in the gulf, and were only used at the same time throughout the 18th dynasty or 1446 BC when the exodus occurred.

There are numerous chariot wheels, plus human and horse bones at the crossing site. Above on right, is a human femur bone that is covered by coral, and was tested at Stockholm University. It is from the right leg of a man 165-170cm tall. It is basically mineralized by resting in the Red Sea for 3500 years.

In addition to these factual findings, you too can know that this experience was indeed true by asking God if what you are studying is true. He will tell you that it is by sending you promptings or feelings that you will have inside of you. Truth will always bring a warming, secure feeling…And the things that are not true will bring confusion and unrest. This is how you can come to know the truthfulness of all things.

Now, with this story in mind, let’s talk about you and your immediate future with the “End Times.”

We are about to enter into the 7-year Tribulation Period. A “Leader” will come to the world stage and bring a “false peace” to Israel and its neighbors.

Daniel 8:25 (KJV)

“And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.”

This verse suggests that the Antichrist will use peace as a deceptive tool to gain power before turning to destruction.

Revelation 13:16-17 (KJV)
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

This passage suggests that the Antichrist (or the second beast, often associated with the False Prophet) will cause people to take the mark, making it a requirement for economic participation. While it doesn’t explicitly say “force,” the implication is that life will become extremely difficult for those who refuse, as they will be unable to buy or sell.

Can you see the dilemma that you will soon face? You and me, and all other believers of Christ will become “Trapped against the edges of the Red Sea.” The anti-Christ will want, (force), us to follow him or face consequences. We might feel at this time that we are dead-ended, and have no place to go.

I would like to address the solution to this scenario with three different possibilities for your consideration.

Number one. We are God’s children. And, those who have chosen to follow Him can expect the same “rescue” that the Israelites experienced. Through some miracle, we could be hidden in the mountains, or guided to a place where we would be kept safe. The possibilities are endless, and would probably be something that we would not logically expect.

A second possibility would be that Jesus would come and “Rapture” us away from this earth.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (KJV)

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

The phrase “caught up” in verse 17 is translated from the Greek word “harpazo,” which means to seize, snatch away, or take suddenly. This is where the idea of the rapture comes from.

Another key passage often associated with the rapture is:

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 (KJV)

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

This passage describes the instant transformation of believers at the sound of the last trumpet.

How does this sound for a divine rescue?

The third possibility is one that is hard to consider, however, I must address it with you. As we learned, in 2023, the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) executed a brutal massacre killing 70 Christians in a church attack. These people died because of what they believed. I honor them and the sacrifice that they made. I am inspired to be as committed as they were. So, let’s talk about this in greater detail.

It is my own personal belief that the majority of Christians will not be taken out this way, but let’s assume that this might happen to you and me. To prepare for such an event, we must look at death from an entirely different perspective.

Up until now, we see death as the ultimate terrible thing that could happen to a person. We are wired to do all that we can to spare our lives, and not let death win. But in this scenario, it is entirely opposite.

It is my opinion, through lots of study and prayer, that all of us will “die” within the next 7 years. Our “death” is certain according to scriptures, as this earth will be changed into a “terrestrial” dwelling, right after the battle of Armageddon.

Knowing this, if you are faced with a situation of loosing your life unless you deny your relationship with Jesus Christ, you are simply stepping into a “glorious state” sooner than some who still has to endure additional mortal challenges. We have played the game of life, and are now taken out of the game, listening to the cheers from others happy that the trials are now over.

Death to Christians is simply the conclusion of our “Mortal State.” We are finished with hardships, pain, suffering, temptation, and fear. We immediately transition into a place where we have always dreamed to be…”Heaven, and with our Savior Jesus Christ.”

When my son was killed in a motorcycle accident, I struggled as I relived the crash over and over in my mind. Peace came to me when I realized that he was not living the “crash” anymore. He was beyond that, and living once again with God. He was at peace. His mortal journey was completed. He isn’t suffering, but living a life that is glorious, and far beyond the hardships of mortal life. He was Free. Safe! Happy. Surrounded by those who loved him. Resting…And excited for us to join him.

Isn’t it quite backwards that we try so hard to not die so that we can live in a world that is broken, evil, and full of hardship…When we know that something far better awaits us on the other side of death.

Having this understanding gives you FULL power against the adversary. If you are unafraid to die, and quickly be in such a better place, he has no leverage in forcing you to follow him.

Again, although this is unlikely that it will happen to you, I invite you to think about what you would do should this situation come to be. It is important to see the “big picture,” and not fall back to the thinking of doing whatever it takes to stay alive.

Before concluding, I must share additional details regarding the “Rest of the story.” Should you be someone that is on the fence, or would think of taking the “easy way” by just complying with the anti-Christ, following him to prevent your death, listen to this:

Assuming that you dodged death by following the anti-Christ, you would certainly not be in the clear as you might think. The scriptures are very specific as to what happens next. Just like the Israelites and the Pharoah of Egypt, God will pour out His wrath upon the earth.

1. First Bowl – Painful Sores
   “And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.”
   (Revelation 16:2, KJV)
2. Second Bowl – Sea Turns to Blood
   “And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.”
   (Revelation 16:3, KJV)
3. Third Bowl – Rivers and Fountains Turn to Blood
   “And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.”
   (Revelation 16:4, KJV)
4. Fourth Bowl – Scorching Heat from the Sun
   “And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.”
   (Revelation 16:8, KJV)
5. Fifth Bowl – Darkness and Pain
   “And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain.”
   (Revelation 16:10, KJV)
6. Sixth Bowl – Euphrates River Dries Up
   “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.”
   (Revelation 16:12, KJV)
7. Seventh Bowl – The Great Earthquake and Hailstorm
   “And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.”
   (Revelation 16:17, KJV)

These judgments escalate the wrath of God upon those who follow the Antichrist and refuse to repent. They ultimately lead to the battle of Armageddon and the return of Jesus Christ.

So, there it is. You thinking that you would just comply and live a similar life as you are living right now is incorrect. By following satan, you have just become an enemy of God, and will face the wrath that He has planned for the inhabitants of the earth.

This entire topic commands some thought from you today. For many, they might choose to put their head in the sand and just deal with things that are right before them. Is this wise? I have included a scripture for those who think this way:

Matthew 24:24 (KJV)

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

This verse is part of Jesus’ warning about the end times, emphasizing that powerful deception will come through false messiahs and prophets, performing signs and wonders so convincing that even God’s chosen people (the elect) could be led astray if it were possible.

There is a tremendous possibility that those who do not prepare with knowledge right now will be deceived. I choose to prepare with knowledge of what the scriptures teach us about our day, and hope that this is your position as well.

I leave you with the knowledge that God knows us. He knows the people who are following Him and His son, Jesus Christ. I also know very strongly, that this can be a time of PEACE for you, as you place your trust in Him. God is going into battle with the adversary. The fight is not with you. It is between good and evil. He will protect you. He will rescue you. And He will be with you should you have to “exit early” in giving your life for Him. There is peace also in knowing that in the end, We Win! God defeats satan, and we will live with Him forever in a wonderful and glorious place… free from pain and suffering.

Be prepared… NOT afraid!
