Quoting from abstract in the article at https://www.nature.com/articles/s41550-024-02472-9 : “We detected amino acids (including 14 of the 20 used in terrestrial biology), amines, formaldehyde, carboxylic acids, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and N-heterocycles (including all five nucleobases found in DNA and RNA), along with ~10,000 N-bearing chemical species. All chiral non-protein amino acids were racemic or nearly so, implying that terrestrial life’s left-handed chirality may not be due to bias in prebiotic molecules delivered by impacts.”

All the amino acids in the living cells on Earth are 100% left handed. However, the amino acids found in asteroids/meteorites are not 100% left handed. They are about 50% left handed. There is no way the 50% left handed amino acids can be changed into the 100% left handed amino acids. So, the amino acids of asteroids and meteorites cannot become the amino acids of Earth. So, Earth life did not originate from asteroids.
