Twelve Offensive Players to Watch at 2025 NFL Combine

With the draft just 62 days away, the 2025 NFL combine in Indianapolis is set take place next week, and we’ve got a list of offensive players to watch for. Of course with the news of Gang Green parting ways with Aaron Rodgers, we start at quarterback.
QB Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss: Jets advisor Rick Spielman said at the end of Senior Bowl week in Mobile that he believes Dart will be a first-round pick. Does that mean he could go as high as seventh overall to the Jets?
QB Brady Cook, Mizzou: Cook battled through some injuries in 2024 but he’s been a very productive passer in the SEC, has good enough mobility to keep defenses honest squeezes throws in to tight windows. You’ll also see cook making his fair share of throws on the move and under duress.
QB Jalen Milroe, Alabama: Easily the most explosive runner at the position in this year’s draft, Milroe throws a great deep ball and will keep defensive coordinators up at night with the way he runs it. His struggles on shorter to intermediate throws have been an issue so teams will likely be looking to see how he does in Indy, even without any defenders to worry about.
RB Raheim Sanders, South Carolina: For many players, and some might argue all players, the most important part of going to the NFL combine is the medical records review. For Sanders, this is huge. One of the best backs in the country back in 2022 when he ran for over 1,400 yards, Sanders missed most of 2023 due to injury. He did bounce back last season with 881 yards for South Carolina and could draw interest from teams if they feel he’s 100% following knee and shoulder injuries.
RB LeQuint Allen, Syracuse: If Aaron Glenn is anything like his mentor Bill Parcells, he’s going to want an impressive stable of running backs and they’d better be able to pick up the blitz. Allen is one of the best blockers we saw on film this year and won’t allow that part of his game to be a liability as is often the case with rookies.
WR LaJohntay Wester, Colorado: Wester is on the small side listed at 167 pounds but look for him to test through the roof. On film Wester shows elite quickness which enables him to get open in a hurry and create separation underneath. Both he and Tez Johnson will be in the same boat in this year’s class. Smaller receivers who will give DB’s fits who will look to use the NFL combine to show what they can do.
WR Bru McCoy, Tennessee: Another guy whose medicals will be a big part of his process. McCoy has missed time at Tennessee but when he’s on the field, the 6′ 3” receiver is a problem on the boundary.
TE Harold Fannin, Bowling Green: Fannin is listed as a tight end but has been referred to by many as simply bein “a football player”. Will he be a tight end, slot receiver or fullback? His combine showing may help get some answers but no matter what he is, he’s a guy you want on your team.
TE Oronde Gadsden II, Syracuse: The Jets need a tight end or three and should use this year’s strong class to address that need. Gadsden would give the Jets a huge 6′ 5” target who can line up at TE, H-Back and WR.
OL Jonah Savaiinaea, Arizona: A quality collegiate tackle, the big man got some looks at guard at the Senior Bowl and looked very impressive. If teams feel his measurements or movement aren’t up to par to be a starting tackle, he may project as a plug and play guard.
OL Emory Jones, LSU: See Jonah Saviinaea.
OG Clay Webb, Jacksonville State: Webb is a player who has limited film as a small school prospect but when you can find it, you’ll be impressed. An ultra physical guard who plays with a mean streak, this will be his chance to make an impression on scouts and coaches at the NFL combine
