Mauna Loa Eruption Update

In the early 80′s Kona was a sleepy fishing “town”
It’s not huge now per statistics, and the census has not been updated since 2010. The Big Island has been the “growth center” of Hawaii population growth. It’s big and there are lot of independent off the grid type thinkers there. In reality between the Hilo and Volcano side almost everyone lives “off the grid” even with their own water catchment systems.
But Kona has all the big box stores, which seems odd if the population is estimated at 18,000. Still a fast moving Mauna Loa Eruption would create at best chaos and maybe huge loss of life.
All conspiracies aside the COVID timing with the 2020 census is convenient, as non-liberals have moved out of shit hole cities and into other areas where their vote would carry more weight. It is convenient to not count this move, and you can be assured that no official audited census will be issued before the 2022 Midterm elections.
I predicted a Mauna Loa Eruption on the Equinox, March 21 2021, what a number! 3212021
Instead the Icelandic volcano Fagradalsfjall stole my thunder and erupted on 3-19-2021 in spectacular fashion. The eggheads are still befuddled by the “rhythmic” eruption pattern. Finally the eggheads are starting to correlation earthquakes with magmatic movement, sheesh.
We haven’t had a big magnetic reversal since about 12,000 years ago in the younger Dryas, and maybe some excursion in the 6000 year ago “Noah Event”. So this makes a big difference in how volcanoes are going to react to Galactic Cosmic Rays, and a 20% reduction in magnetic field may have a much bigger impact than just 20% in the geoeffective Cosmic Rays, especially those that make it to ground penetrating and those that make it to lower lattitudes.
So the sun facing side of earth has a compressed magnetic shield via solar wind and the interplanetary magnetic field allowing more GCRs to get in, this literally “charges” the magma, creates water out of OH- ions, and breaks down the Silica Quad-Oxide long chains that make basaltic magmas thick, both acting to reduce viscosity of the magma and let it flow. As it moves up the dissolved gases that may be in liquid state, expand or turn liquid to gas and that creates the huge forces necessary for the occasional fountaning that can reach 1000 feet. And you get this!

Mauna Loa eruptions tend to produce voluminous, fast-moving lava flows that can impact communities on the east and west sides of the Big Island from Kona to Hilo. Since the 1850s, Hilo in eastern Hawaii has been threatened by 7 Mauna Loa lava flows. On the south and west sides of the island, Mauna Loa lava flows have reached the coast there 8 times: in 1859, 1868, 1887, 1926, 1919, and three times in 1950.
