Please read the following information and verses to determine the answers to the above-mentioned question:

To whom did Jesus gave his power and authority to go and do?
Jesus gave His power and authority to the 12 Disciples (Mathew 10:1, Luke 9:1-24) who later became the Apostles and the other 70 Disciples (Luke 10:17-19).

What was the major difference between the two groups Jesus gave His Power and Authority?                 Bible names the 12 Disciples that were very close to Jesus in (Mathew 10:2) while The Bible does not name any of the 70 but for the first time confirmed that Jesus being the Teacher had many disciples that he was training to also become the Evangelists and do the works of the Kingdom of God. Same assigned mission but two different groups.

Who do think were the copy cats?                                                                                                                       They were the seven sons of Sceva, (Acts 19: 14) a Jewish High Priest that tried to also do what the saw the 12 Disciples and then the 70 Disciples of Jesus were doing?

What were the reported results of the actions of the ones to whom Jesus gave His Power and Authority versus the copy cats?

The 12 Disciples and the 70 Disciples of Jesus came back with amazing results of Spreading The Gospel, Healing the sick and had authority over the demons because they obeyed them.

In contrast The 7 sons of Sceva failed to have any success against the Demons they encountered (Act19:15).
 

What was the main difference as to why one group came back with amazing reports and results versus the copy cats who also tried to get the same results but failed miserably?

The major fundamental difference between the two groups was the 12 and 70 Disciplines were in a close RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS, BELIEVED IN JESUS! and had received His Power and Authority directly from Jesus and HAD FAITH IN JESUS THAT HIS WORDS HAVE SPIRITUAL POWER AND AUTHORITY TO WORK AGAINST THE DISEASES AND CONDITIONS (ATTACKS OF SATAN ON GOD’S CREATION MAN AND NATURE) ALL EVIL SPIRITS NOT JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE REPEATING THE WORD OF JESUS.

In contrast the seven sons of Sceva saw DID NOT EXPERIENCE the same success as the 12 and then the 70 disciples of Jesus were having , they did not have a close relationship with Jesus or HAD ANY KNOWLEDGE OR FAITH IN THE WORDS OF JESUS and did not get the power and authority directly from Jesus.

Who actually exposed the copy cats and why?
“And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” (ACTS 19:15 ). Even Satanic evil spirits of the Spirit World know who Jesus is and His God given powers and authority which he delegated only to his disciples.

The above scriptures revealed the main purpose God sent His Son, Jesus was to spread the Gospel to restore His creation Man to again have THE ETERNAL LIFE, the status and power once Adam and Eve had and again have Dominion over all the Earth, replenish it and destroy the works of Satan and his Demons. All through the ministry of Jesus God worked through Him to demonstrate His power and authority over the conditions Satan and Demons had succeeded in implementing and is continuing to do so because the followers of Jesus today have failed to exercise their God given rights in the Bible.                                                                                                   —————————
