SAVE ACT: House to Vote on Bill Mandating Voter ID, Cleaning Up Voter Rolls

Without election integrity, every other issue is moot. Free and fair elections are the bedrock of a free society. The Save act must pass.

The Democrat oppose the SAVE act because it would dramatically impact the voter fraud and rigging instrumental to their winning elections. Free and fair elections would rout the Democrat party.

It’s a simple bill. It requires proof of citizenship to register to vote.

It also requires states to clean their voter rolls of non-citizens.

This is critical legislation.

The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, introduced by Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), seeks to “amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to require proof of United States citizenship to register an individual to vote in elections for Federal office.” Although the GOP-led House last year passed the SAVE Act, which also pushes states to remove non-citizens from voter rolls, the bill never got a vote in the Democrat-controlled Senate. Now, both chambers of Congress are commanded by Republicans… The moves came after President Donald Trump signed an executive order that threatens to strip federal funds from states that do not require proof of citizenship to register for federal elections (Daily Wire).

SCOTUS has previously ruled that the National Voter Registration Act prevents states from requiring proof of citizenship to register people to vote in federal elections. The SAVE Act REQUIRES proof of citizenship. Common sense.
