1/25/2025: At 10am this morning while walking my dogs Champagne and Ire, I get a paranormal hotline call. Mary from Curtis Park is on the other line. She tells me that her father David died about 6 months ago and just recently there has been some paranormal activity going on in her home. The paranormal activity is freaking Mary out. Mary says she believes it’s her father that is haunting the home. Mary explains that it’s a harmless haunting, but nevertheless she wants it to stop. Mary tells me that her father was an avid reader of books. Some of the books that grace his library are: The Lord of the Rings; 1984; War and Peace; Pride and Prejudice; Don Quixote and a whole lot more. Mary tells me that in remembrance of her father, she has kept a few of his personal items. She has his bible, his books, his eyeglasses, his pocket watch, 3 pairs of his shoes, etc. Some of the haunting activity has to do with her father’s eyeglasses. Mary on a couple of nights have found her father’s eyeglasses on the seat of his favorite chair. Mary knows that the eyeglasses were placed on the nightstand, but yet somehow, the eyeglasses have found their way to her father’s chair. On another night, she found the book “War and Peace” open and sitting on the nightstand with her father’s eyeglasses on top of the book.

Mary says that the straw that broke the camel’s back is when she saw the eyeglasses with temples open hovering in the hallway at her father’s eye level. It was as if he was invisible and wearing the eyeglasses. Mary says….”as soon as I saw that, the eyeglasses fell to the floor”. Mary says…”I’m sorry, I love my dad, but that was too much, it scared me to death.” Mary asks if I ever saw the movie Invisible Man? I told her I did. Mary says it reminded her of that movie. Mary asks if I ever experienced a haunting like this. My answer to Mary is “yes”. When I was in the Army, I visited Oberhofen Castle in Switzerland, which is along the shore of Lake Thun. Tourists and locals report hearing footsteps and seeing shadowy figures in the castle. The castle is said to be haunted by several ghosts, but the one ghost that is famous is Agnes. Agnes was a young woman who died in the castle. Agnes’ ghost is said to wander the castle grounds searching for her lost love. She is seen sobbing by the lake and witnesses will see her as a full body apparition holding a handkerchief, then her body will dematerialize, and the witnesses only see a handkerchief floating in the air. Agnes becomes the invisible girl and the only way you know that she is by the lake is seeing the handkerchief floating in the air, which is similar to what Mary’s father is doing, but instead of a handkerchief, David is doing this with his eyeglasses.

Mary asks if I could come over and conduct a blessing of the house and David’s personal items. Mary asks if I could send her father into the light. I agreed. I brought along Wish Fire, our psychic medium. When we arrived, I conducted a small investigation to see if I could gather any evidence of paranormal activity. My EMF detector did go off for a couple of minutes by David’s eyeglasses. I also captured a wheezing sound. David was 87 years old when he passed away and had COPD. Mary confirmed that there were times that her father would wheeze. Mary listened to the EVP and felt that it was her father. Wish Fire detected the strong presence of David by his study. This is where I captured the wheezing sounding EVP. Wish Fire conducted a metaphysical cleansing of the home. Wish Fire asks her spirit guide and angels to assist her in pulling this lost soul into a higher dimension (the light). Afterwards, I conducted my Roman Catholic house blessing, asking angels to assist me in sending David into the light. I will keep in touch with Mary to see if Wish Fire and I, were successful in sending David into the light. This case is still PENDING.
