Regarding a mortgage. The bank doesn’t lend you anything. Particularly the money to buy the house. The money for the mortgage is created by YOUR signature on the instrument. On the mortgage/deed which gives you instant ownership of that house because you, by virtue of your signature are the original depositing CREDITOR.
If you were to ask for a receipt instead of signing over the check that they draft, they would have to give it to you or you could file charges for fraud.
The mortgage is a slight of hand show.
